Al pastor $3.50
Shaved off the trompo with roasted pineapple.
Handmade tortillas off the comal, pastor from the trompo and salsas worth the drive. Open late, Thursday through Sunday.
Load up as much as you want. Ask for a deli cup to take some home.
Comal Rojo started as a backyard pop-up and a borrowed griddle. Now it's a red trailer on the east side, but the rule hasn't changed: no tortilla sits around. Every one is pressed and cooked the moment you order.
The pastor marinates for a full day before it hits the trompo, and the salsas are blended fresh every afternoon. Pull up a stool under the string lights and stay a while.
"You can taste that the tortillas were made thirty seconds ago. The pastor is the best on the east side, full stop."
"They catered our office party for 40 people. Everybody went back for thirds and asked where the salsa macha came from."
"My 1am post-show ritual. Quesabirria with extra consomé and an horchata. Never once been disappointed."
Offices, birthdays, backyard weddings. We bring the trailer or a full drop-off spread for 30 people and up.

Nopales & queso and hongos al ajillo are both vegetarian, and the beans are cooked without lard.
There are picnic tables and stools under string lights next to the trailer. Dogs are welcome on the patio.
